BOOKING FEES
To secure your booking, a non-refundable booking fee, as specified in your final estimate, is payable within 7 calendar days of receiving the estimate via bank transfer. If payment is not received within this timeframe, the date will be released and may be booked by other clients.
The remaining balance is due no later than 6 weeks before your event date. For bookings made within 6 weeks of the event date, full payment is required upfront to secure the booking.
The booking fee is non-refundable except in circumstances where Anna White Make Up and Hair cancels the booking (see "Cancellation Policy"). The booking fee is non-transferable to other dates or services.
Dates and scheduled times will only be reserved upon receipt of the booking fee.
TRAVEL CHARGES
A travel fee will be applied for locations outside a 5-mile radius of GL7 2NH. The maximum charge is currently 90p per mile, and this rate may be subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel costs. The applicable travel cost will be clearly stated in your quote and will not be altered after the quote is provided.
The client is responsible for all costs associated with travel to a booked event, which may include, but are not limited to: airfare, accommodation, ground transportation, and parking fees. These costs will be outlined in the quote where applicable.
TRIALS
Trials are available and are recommended to ensure your requirements are fully understood and met. Trials are conducted at our Cirencester studio, GL7 2NH. Please book your trial well in advance to secure your preferred date and time.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Anna White Make Up and Hair reserves the right to terminate this contract if the client breaches these terms and conditions. In such cases, any payments made may be non-refundable, subject to fair consideration of costs incurred by Anna White Make Up and Hair.
If Anna White Make Up and Hair is unable to perform the services for any reason, we will endeavour to recommend a replacement artist. The client retains the sole discretion to engage the replacement artist. In the event that Anna White Make Up and Hair cancels the booking for reasons other than the client's breach of these terms, a full refund of all monies paid, including the booking fee, will be issued to the client. This refund represents the sole liability of Anna White Make Up and Hair, its owners, employees, and agents.
Cancellation of a wedding event by the client within 6 months of the event date will result in the forfeiture of the booking fee. However, as a gesture of goodwill, if Anna White Make Up and Hair successfully re-books the date with another client for comparable services, the booking fee may be refunded after the successful completion of the replacement client's event, less any reasonable administrative costs incurred.
SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
The location for the provision of services on the event day is to be determined by the client. However, the client must provide a suitable and safe working environment for the artist(s). This includes:
-
A clean and stable table or work area of reasonable size.
-
Access to working electrical outlets if hair services are included in the booking.
-
Adequate lighting, whether natural or artificial, to ensure the services can be performed to a professional standard.
Failure to provide these requirements may impact the quality of the services or, in extreme cases, may prevent the services from being carried out.
LIABILITY
All brushes, tools, and makeup products are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and are thoroughly sanitised between each client. The client is responsible for informing the artist of any known skin conditions or allergies prior to the booking. If necessary, a patch test of makeup or hair products can be arranged before the event.
The client agrees to release Anna White Make Up and Hair from any liability for skin complications or allergic reactions arising from the use of products, provided that all reasonable hygiene practices have been followed and the client has not withheld information about known sensitivities.
PAYMENT
The final balance is due 6 weeks before the event date. No exceptions will be made unless explicitly agreed in writing. The person who made the initial booking and paid the booking fee is responsible for the full balance of payment. Acceptable forms of payment are bank transfer only.
Payment of the booking fee and/or the final balance signifies the client's full agreement to these terms and conditions.
COVID-19
In circumstances related to widespread health emergencies, such as a pandemic, booking fees may be deferred for a maximum of 12 months, subject to availability. Booking fees remain non-refundable unless Anna White Make Up and Hair cancels the booking (as per the standard Cancellation Policy). Clients are strongly advised to ensure their wedding or event insurance includes coverage for such eventualities.
For parties of 3 or more individuals, a surcharge may be applied to cover the costs of enhanced hygiene measures. This will be communicated in your quote.
For wedding events cancelled due to mandatory government-imposed lockdowns between March and September inclusive, a full refund of all payments made will be provided. For wedding dates that are postponed due to such lockdowns, the booking fee may be transferred to a new date, subject to availability. If the new date is unavailable, the standard cancellation policy regarding the potential resale of the date will apply.
COMPETITIONS
From time to time, Anna White Make Up and Hair may run competitions. These competitions are subject to change without notice, and our decision on all matters relating to the competition is final. By entering a competition, you agree to these terms.
